Youth @ St. James
Never have the demands on young people been so… well, demanding. Truth be told, growing up is hard and we understand that. St. James wants to help young people discover their true identity as Children of a loving God. We value an education built on Biblical and Theological truths, and centered on community, service, and outreach. We offer young people the freedom and support to ask their deepest questions and journey toward a deeper faith in God. We meet weekly on Sunday mornings and enjoy hikes, Beach BBQs, a girls’ small group, and service projects, among other things! In our youths’ own words, “The youth of St. James allow teens to come together in an accepting & uplifting environment. In the future, we will work so that all may have a peaceful place to grow and share in our faith.” Come join us this week!
Our Sunday morning youth group meets at 10 a.m. in the youth room upstairs, and rejoins the wider church downstairs for Eucharist and the end of the service.

Upcoming Events:
On February 24th and 25th, the Youth of St. James will going without food for 30 hours to raise money to help feed and support malnourished children and families around the world.
We hope to raise $1,080, the amount it will take to provide nutritious food, healthcare, and more for 3 people for a whole year. If you’d like to help us reach that goal, please consider supporting us in one of three ways:
-
-Supporting an individual youth participating in the famine by writing a check to “World Vision” and giving it to your favorite youth!
-Give a financial gift that will be shared equally among the youth’s fundraising efforts by contacting Amy Lajiness here.
We thank you for supporting our youth program and the hungry around the world!
